Another plastic surgery victim David
Gest (born 1953) is an American television producer and concert promoter who is
now perhaps best known for his brief marriage to Liza Minnelli and plastic
fantastic. His marriage with Minnelli began on March 16, 2002 and terminated
less than a year and a half later in July 2003. In October 2003, he sued her
for $10 million, claiming that she had been violent and physically abusive
during their marriage, behavior the affidavit blamed on Minnelli’s persistent
alcoholism.
Gest, who grew up in Southern
California and counted Michael Jackson and his brothers as childhood friends,
which later has become reason for jokes when Gest’s face suddenly turned into a
scary mask as a result of numerous facelifts.
